Had an ace interview with P-Thugg (Patrick Gemayel to his mother) from Canadian electro-funk outfit Chromeo this afternoon for The National. They bill themselves as “the world’s only successful Arab/Jewish partnership since the dawn of human culture,” but I pointed out that Omar Sharif had a big ol’ kiss with Barbra Streisand in the 1967 film Funny Girl.
Hurrah! It appears that I really can guff out words on almost any subject matter. Here’s 750 of them on the Wizard of Oz, apparently due for a remake, which appeared in The National today. Next up, a 4,000 word feature on South American wind patterns and an op-ed on the state of China’s steel industry.
